Movies by the River 2012 film festival (17th – 18th of august) is pleased to invite filmmakers to enter their works for this year's festival.

Movies by the River is a new Non-Competitive film festival organised by “Kulttuurirykmentti – Kulturregementet”, a cultural events producing association. The festival was organized for the first time in 2011 and it proved to be a popular event where the public enjoyed a concept of live music, good food with high quality great movies starring in the amazing Old Town of Porvoo from.

Send in your submissions today and be part of what will become a tradition! Submissions are open to fiction, animation, documentary, experimental, etc. All non-English films must have English subtitles. Also, the general conditions of the participation assume that films must not exceed a length of 20 minutes. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2012.
