The task of arts management professionals is to bring together the artist, art, audience and society in a productive manner that enriches everybody’s life. The Arts Management Master’s Degree Programme at the Sibelius Academy provides skills and knowledge for the future arts management professionals to lead projects, productions and organizations in public, private and the third sector. During the studies the students are able to create international, national and local networks that will be an essential resource for the future successful career in arts management. The studies prepare students for the leading positions in the cultural field and provide analytical skills to critically assess the current topics in the field of arts management.

The Master’s Degree Programme in Arts Management consists of 150 ECTS credits and it can be completed within 2-2,5 years. The programme brings together people with diverse educational and artistic backgrounds, which provide a unique context for each individual to develop his or her potential towards an excellent arts manager.

Next application period for the programme is March 4-15, 2013. The applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree and some work experience related to arts management. The applicants are also required to demonstrated their ability in English language and attach a motivation letter to their application.
